FRIDAY VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENTS

Dear Beloved Dress Rehearsal Volunteers,

We are very excited for a busy and productive Dress Rehearsal Friday.  Below are the assignments for tomorrow.  A few important notes:

  1. Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before your assigned call time (if this is an issue, please let me know).
  2. Please see the primary location that you will be monitoring (room).
  3. We will have the theatre live-streamed into each of the rooms.
  4. At the beginning of each shift, there will be some time when we will get set up for the show run.  Please help all kids get into costumes and keep calm until we begin the run.
  5. When M-2 arrives, please report directly to the cafeteria, as we will give them pizza as they come.  3-8 will eat pizza upon completing the first run (hopefully shortly after M-2).
  6. We will put snacks in the rooms in the afternoon (after pizza service) to assist you all with keeping them from getting hangry. ðŸ˜Š
    • Please have the children put their shirts/smocks from home over their costumes when eating ANY & ALL food.
  7. At the end of the day, all M-5 will bring their costumes home (we will help you with directions as accessories stay).
  8. We appreciate all the extra help, but we ask that everyone arrive and depart on time. This is for you all and for us, as it allows us to shift focus to our next tasks.
  9. Lastly, if you know an available and previously unassigned fellow beloved individual who wants one of the green spots below, please have them contact me (Drew).

Thank you,

Drew

SQUISHMALLOW AUDIENCE FOR TECH WEEK!

For tech week (Tuesday through Friday), we invite all of our Mechina through 8th-grade participants to bring in a Squishmallow or favorite stuffed animal to be an audience member in our theatre seats as our adorable audience.

This is optional and will provide extra fun during our long week of rehearsals!

Each cast or crew member may bring in up to 2 plush animals.

PLEASE PUT YOUR CHILD'S NAME (or your name) on the tag of the stuffed animal/squishmallow your child brings in during tech or dress rehearsal.

Do not send in an animal without a name on the tag.

Thank you!

TECH and DRESS WEEK SCHEDULE

Greetings Agrabahns!

We are entering tech week on Tuesday.  Below is the schedule for tech and dress.

Please be mindful that hundreds of bodies and moving pieces are involved in tech week, and we must run through the show with lights, props, sound, mics, entrances, exits, costumes, hair, and makeup.

According to the schedule below, we will try to get your children and you out on time.

For our older students, those in High Adventure (4th grade Boy Guards who we kindly ask to stay until the 5th grade dismissal time) and in grades 6-8, it is an "ish" dismissal, as we may be in the middle of the ending when your child's dismissal time takes place.

The "ish" window may run up to 10 minutes past dismissal but will NEVER be over 10 minutes. Thank you for your patience, support, and understanding, as running a show is never an exact science regarding timing!
